The days of perfectly matching bridesmaids and groomsmen are out, as couples opt for a ‘less is more’ approach, or choose to have their main people by their side, no matter the number or gender.

While micro weddings and elopements have already been on the rise through 2023, they don’t seem to be going anywhere in 2024. It seems couples want to keep the focus on them (rightly so!) and be super intentional with both their wedding style and spending, with rising living costs still front of mind.
On the opposite end, destination weekend weddings are also on the up, which is something we love to see! Getaways with the whole gang, long lunches in loved up locations and celebrating your romance over a few days in paradise - what’s not to love!
3. What To Wear
Wedding planners are saying they haven’t seen this many of these in years…Veils! Looks like these photographer favs are coming back big, and we’re so here for the photo ops!
Brides are also opting for super simple bouquets (if they even have one at all) and bringing the mini dresses into the mix for their reception as short, fun and sexy dresses shift the energy from ‘I do’ to ‘let’s dance’!
